Feeling Thankful


I am so thankful for my many treasures. 
My family, my friends, my colleagues and my catboys.
Fond memories of those no longer here.
For lots of love and laughing and sharing.
For all the kindnesses and courtesies.

So many thanks.

    A belated Happy Thanksgiving to you! I was touched by your comment on my blog, and so glad to meet you after so many years of our shared offspring SWEET POTATO PIE! Where I came from in the South sweet potato pie was more a custom than pumpkin pie--although they are quite similar I guess.

    I had an editor who wanted to reprint this title after RH tossed it out, but alas, she had no higher up takers. But I'm a glass half-full person, and don't give up hope.

    Here's wishing you the peace and joy of the season, and a much better 2009.
